August 2008 Praises
- Deno Rousopoulous has been approved for a Field Staff position to promote
the growth of CBMC Forums in Indiana.
- Mike Bundy & Deno hosted two CBMC Forums Introduction meetings with good response.
- Steve Casbon led an Equipping Session on Operation Timothy with 23 in attendance.
September 2008 Prayer Requests
- A CBMC Forums Introduction meeting will be held in Elkhart on September 18th.
- CBMC Franklin is hosting the Franklin Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast, Saturday, September
20th, with former Colt, Tarik Glenn, sharing his testimony.
- Indianapolis Leadership Prayer Breakfast to be held Thursday, October 30th.
Speaker, Eric Alexander, led a blind man to the top of Mount Everest.
- Steve Casbon, Director of Ministry Relations, leading a workshop on
Abundant Freedom on Tuesday, November 4th, in Greenwood.
- The annual CBMC Indiana Recognition Banquet to be held Saturday, February 7th, 2009.
Continued growth and development of downtown Indy Bible studies led by Bassam Nader.
- Achievement of 2008 goals for CBMC Indiana.
- Financial support to fund the 2008 CBMC Indiana budget.
Foundation funding proposals that have been submitted.
- Increased involvement of CBMC members in the development of
the Focus Teams.
- Continued development and utilization of the
www.cbmcindiana.com website; development of webpages for
individual Ministry Teams.
- Development of CBMC in Northwest Indiana, Greenfield, Lafayette,
Shelbyville, and Mooresville.
- Development of additional Pauls and Timothys throughout the State
of Indiana.
- Development of communication tools to connect members and to track
Timothys & Pauls.
- Daily, ask God, “What would You have me do today that will help
bring Your Kingdom down to earth? What would You have me trust You for, today?”
- Consider asking someone, “What’s your experience with Jesus Christ?”
- Pray for Task Force One workers & others involved in rescue operations, for those who are Christians to present a good testimony, and for the non-Christians to come to salvation.
